Amitabh Bachchan Shares Cryptic Note Amid Retirement Rumours: "Leaving A Void Unfulfilled"

Amitabh Bachchan wrote about "saturation" and "leaving a void" in his latest blog entry amid his rumours of retirement. The superstar also addressed the swift spread of information in his blog post. 

Amitabh Bachchan wrote, "Saturation... and the paucity of space... two sides of the same coin... unavoidable... but present, causing the mind to work in deeds that it may never have encountered..."

He added, "The spread of information vast and in multiples, compels one and all to visit each... and by the time one has thought where to go the influence of the others takes prominence to the extent that the first is lost and forgotten..."

"Multitasking is a great word in the modern lingua... but the virtues of it have been overtaken long back... leaving a void unfulfilled and vacant... Like now... the vacancy exists... so close the book and search another medium..." wrote Mr Bachchan. 

Amitabh Bachchan teased fans with a cryptic post on X (formerly known as Twitter). It read, "Time to go." The post instantly prompted reactions from the Internet, speculating about his retirement from films and Kaun Banega Crorepati. 

A section of the Internet also assumed the post might be related to his health. 

In a new released promo for Kaun Banega Crorepati 16, Amitabh Bachchan addressed the mystery over his retirement, "Arre bhai sahab, humko kaam par jaane ka samay aagaya hai... gajab baat karte ho yaar! Aur raat ko jab 2 baje yahan se chhutti milti hai, toh ghar pahuchte-pahuchte 1-2 baj jaate hain. Woh likhte-likhte humko neend aa gayi, toh woh wahin tak reh gaya... Jaane ka waqt aur hum so gaye!"

Sunita Ahuja Filed For Divorce From Govinda Six Months Ago, Reveals Actor's Lawyer

After rumours of Govinda and Sunita Ahuja's divorce began circulating on social media, the couple's lawyer, Lalit Bindal, confirmed that while Sunita had filed for divorce six months ago, the two have now reconciled and are back together. 

Bindal, a close friend of the couple, reassured fans that their 37-year marriage is "still going strong". 

In an interview with India Today, Lalit Bindal explained that although Sunita had filed for divorce, the couple worked through their issues and are now united. He mentioned that they even travelled to Nepal to ring in the New Year together, where they performed puja at the Pashupatinath Mandir. "Everything is fine between them now. Such things happen between couples, but they are going strong and will always be together," Bindal stated.

Earlier, Govinda's nephew, Krushna Abhishek, told SCREEN that a divorce is out of the question. "Not possible. They will never do this," he said. Govinda's niece, Arti Singh, also dismissed the rumours in an interview with News18, calling them "false." "These are just speculations. Their bond is so strong, and they've built a loving relationship over the years. How can they get divorced? It's completely untrue. People should stop spreading misinformation about their personal lives," she said.

Govinda and Sunita Ahuja got married in March 1987. However, the couple announced their wedding after welcoming their daughter, Tina, in 1988. Later, they had a son, Yashvardhan, in 1997.

Sonakshi Sinha Reveals If She Was Asked To Convert Into Islam Before Marrying Zaheer Iqbal: "They Follow Certain Traditions..."

Sonakshi Sinha recently spoke about her marriage to Zaheer Iqbal and shed light on the rumours and speculation that surrounded their wedding. 

The couple's decision to marry came under intense public scrutiny, particularly due to comments made by her father, veteran actor Shatrughan Sinha, and the absence of her brothers, Luv and Kussh, at the wedding. These factors led many to question whether the Sinha family was supportive of the union. 

In a recent interview with Hauterrfly, Sonakshi addressed the concerns, explaining that while her father was as supportive as he could be, she did not delve into her brothers' absence. She also clarified that she never faced any pressure from Zaheer's family to convert to Islam.

Sonakshi added that religion was never an issue for her and Zaheer. "Zaheer and I weren't really paying attention to religion. We are two people who love each other and want to get married to each other," she explained. She added, "He didn't enforce his religion on me, and I am not enforcing my religion on him. This wasn't even a discussion." 

The actress went on to share how they both respect each other's cultures. "We appreciate and understand each other's cultures. They follow certain traditions at their house, I follow certain traditions at my house. He participates in my Diwali pooja, and I participate in his rituals. And that's all that matters," she added.

Sonakshi also highlighted the role of the Special Marriage Act in their union, stating that it was the best solution for them. "Under the circumstances, the best way to get married was the Special Marriage Act, where I, as a Hindu woman, do not need to change my religion, and he, as a Muslim man, can remain a Muslim man. It's as simple as that. I was never asked, 'Are you going to convert?' We love each other, and we're going to get married."

Regarding the online speculation and negativity, Sonakshi admitted that she and Zaheer chose to mute their Instagram comments leading up to their wedding to avoid unnecessary stress. "On my big day, mujhe yeh bakwas dekhni hi nahi hai (I didn't want to be near this nonsense)," she said.

Sonakshi and Zaheer married on June 23 last year. The couple dated for nearly seven years before exchanging wedding vows.

The film, which is currently untitled, will be made in Hindi and several other languages.

Meanwhile, Karan Johar is busy with multiple projects. He is set to introduce Ibrahim Ali Khan, son of Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh, who will be seen in Nadaaniyan, a romantic film that also stars Khushi Kapoor, Suniel Shetty, Dia Mirza, Mahima Chaudhary, and Jugal Hansraj.
The film, directed by Shauna Gautam, will be released on Netflix.
Johar is also collaborating with actor Kartik Aaryan for a new romantic comedy, Tu Meri Main Tera, Main Tera Tu Meri. Directed by Satya Prem Ki Katha filmmaker Sameer Vidwans, the movie will hit theatres worldwide in 2026.

Govinda Reacts To Reports Of Divorce From Sunita Ahuja: "Only Business Talks Going"

Govinda and his wife Sunita Ahuja are, reportedly, heading for a divorce after 37 years of marriage. Amidst the ongoing speculation, Govinda reacted to the reports of divorce in an interview with ETimes.

Without divulging details, Govinda kept his reply short. When ETimes asked Govinda about the truth of various reports claiming a rift in his marriage, the Hero No 1 actor said, "There are only business talks going.....I am in the process of starting my films." Sunita didn't reply to the message of ETimes about rumours of divorce.

When ETimes contacted Govinda's manager Shashi Sinha, he said, "There have been issues between the couple due to certain statements made by certain members from the family. There is nothing more to it and Govinda is in process of starting a film for which artists are visiting our office. We are trying to resolve it. "

On Wednesday, various reports claimed that Govinda's marriage is on the rocks for a while. The couple are, reportedly, living separately for some time now.

Reports of their rumoured separation emerged as Sunita Ahuja shared details of their private lives in a few recent interviews.

In the Hindi Rush interview, Sunita Ahuja laughed when asked about Govinda's romantic side. "I have told him that in my next life, he should not be my husband. He doesn't go on holidays. I am a person who wants to go out with her husband and eat pani-puri on the streets. He spent too much time working. I don't recall a single instance when we both went out to watch a movie," she complained.

Amidst these ongoing rumours, ETimes quoted a source as saying, "Sunita apparently had sent a separation notice a few months ago, but there has been no movement since then."

Blaming Bollywood for distorting "ideas of marriages", the actress said, "Too many Bollywood love stories have distorted the ideas of marriages, marriages should be how it has always been in this country, it always had a purpose and the purpose was Dharma which essentially means duty. That's it, do your duty. That's it, do your duty and move on, life is too short and fast, if you try to get too much validation or footage you will end up alone with your therapist." 

Mrs. is a remake of the 2021 Malayalam film The Great Indian Kitchen. Directed by Arati Kadav, the film follows Sanya Malhotra's character, Richa – an ambitious dancer who is married into a patriarchal household and forced into domestic chores until she ultimately resists the oppression. Mrs. also features Nishant Dahiya and Kanwaljit Singh in key roles.

Dhanashree Verma And Yuzvendra Chahal Are Now Officially Divorced: "Please Refrain From Any Kind Of Speculation"

India's spinner Yuzvendra Chahal and actor-choreographer Dhanashree Verma have settled their divorce. According to a statement from the cricketer's lawyer, Nitin K Gupta, the divorce petition was filed by mutual consent and was presented in court at Bandra, Mumbai. 

The case is currently under judicial review, and it would be illegal to discuss the matter publicly. Chahal and his family have decided not to comment on the media reports and have urged the public to refrain from speculation.

"Mr Chahal has reached a settlement for a divorce by mutual consent with Mrs Verma. A petition fordivorce by mutual consent has been filed before the Hon'ble Family Court, Bandra. The matter is now sub-judice," stated Chahal's lawyer, Nitin K Gupta, in an official statement to Hindustan Times.

"Further steps are being taken as per law in this regard. Mr Chahal and his family respectfully choose not to comment on the details circulating in media and request all to refrain from any kind of speculation," he added.

Previously, Dhanashree's family had issued a statement denying rumours that the actress-dancer had demanded Rs 60 crore in alimony from Yuzvendra. The family strongly refuted these claims, clarifying that no such amount had ever been requested, demanded, or offered.

"We are extremely outraged by the unfounded rumors regarding the alimony figure. Let it be clear that no such amount has been sought, demanded, or even proposed. These rumors are completely false. Reckless reporting like this only causes unnecessary harm and confusion. We urge the media to be more responsible, verify their information, and respect everyone's privacy," the statement read.

ICYDK, the divorce rumours started gaining traction in 2023 after Dhanashree dropped 'Chahal' from her name on Instagram. This change came a day after Yuzvendra shared a cryptic Instagram story that read, "New life loading." 

At that time, Yuzvendra posted a note dismissing the divorce rumours and asked his fans not to believe in or spread rumours about his relationship with Dhanashree.

Dhanashree and Yuzvendra Chahal married on December 11, 2020. Opening up about their love story on Jhalak Dikhla Jaa 11, the choreographer said, "During the lockdown no matches were happening and all the cricketers were sitting at home and getting frustrated. During that time Yuzi decided one fine day that he wants to learn dance. He had seen my dance videos on social media and back in the day, I used to teach dance and he approached me to be my student. Aadar Jain Marries Alekha Advani. See First Pics Of Newlyweds

Aadar Jain and Alekha Advani are now married. The couple, who had an intimate Christian wedding in Goa earlier this year, recently married in a grand Hindu ceremony in Mumbai. 

The newlyweds made their first public appearance as husband and wife.

Alekha looked stunning in a traditional red lehenga, intricately embroidered with gold detailing, paired with heavy bridal jewellery. Her ensemble featured an elaborate necklace, matching earrings and red bangles. She completed her bridal look with a red veil and a classic bridal bun adorned with flowers. 

Aadar, on the other hand, complemented his bride in an ivory sherwani with intricate embroidery. His look was enhanced with a matching safa and emerald necklaces. The couple shared a tender moment, with Aadar kissing Alekha on the forehead.

After their Christian wedding in Goa, Aadar Jain and Alekha Advani are now gearing up for a Hindu wedding.

The celebrations kicked off on Wednesday night with a grand mehendi ceremony, attended by family members including Kareena Kapoor, Karisma Kapoor, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Neetu Kapoor, and others.

While pictures and videos from the event are making the rounds online, one particular moment has sparked backlash. Aadar Jain is facing criticism for calling his past relationships “time pass” during a toast for Alekha Advani.

For the unversed, Aadar previously dated actress Tara Sutaria for a considerable time.

While raising a toast to Alekha Advani, Aadar Jain said, "I have always loved her since then, and I have always wanted to be with her but never got a chance to be with her. So she sent me on this long journey of 20 years through time pass. But at the end of the day it was worth the wait because I get to marry this beautiful, beautiful woman, who looks like a dream".

Chhaava Box Office Collection Day 7: Vicky Kaushal's Movie Earns Rs 22 Crore

The one-week box office report card for Chhaava is finally in. On Day 7, the film headlined by Vicky Kaushal earned Rs 22 crore at the ticket windows, according to a Sacnilk report. 

The historical drama had an overall 27.96% Hindi occupancy on its first Thursday. So far, Chhaava has minted a total of Rs 219.75 crore, the report added.

Directed by Laxman Utekar, Chhaava is based on the life of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, the second ruler of the Maratha Confederacy. 

The movie features Vicky Kaushal as Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj and Rashmika Mandanna as his wife, Yesubai Bhonsale. 

Along with the lead duo, fans are loving Akshaye Khanna as Aurangzeb, Ashutosh Rana as Hambirrao Mohite, Diana Penty as Zinat-un-Nissa Begum, and Divya Dutta as Soyarabai.

On Thursday, Bollywood trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared Chhaava's Day 6 box office figures on X, and announced its entry into the Rs 200 crore club. 

He wrote, “200 NOT OUT: 'CHHAAVA' IS SENSATIONAL... RECORD HOLD IN MAHARASHTRA... #Chhaava makes a grand entry into the Rs 200 crore club, aided by the #ChhatrapatiShivajiMaharajJayanti holiday boost on Wednesday [Day 6].”

Talking about Day 6 numbers, Taran Adarsh added, “With a massive Rs 30 crore + collection on Wednesday, #Chhaava has hit it out of the park yet again... In fact, its Day 6 biz is almost at par with Day 1 [#ValentinesDay], which is truly outstanding.”

The trade analyst also highlighted Chhaava's stronghold in Maharashtra and growing occupancy in Rajasthan and West Bengal. Predicting its future performance, he said, “#Chhaava continues its heroic run in #Maharashtra, showing no signs of slowing down [Day 6 is bigger than Day 1]... #Rajasthan and #WestBengal also saw better occupancy on Wednesday. Based on current trends, #Chhaava is expected to dominate the #Boxoffice until #Sikandar arrives on #Eid.”

Sharing the detailed box office breakdown for Week 1, he wrote, “#Chhaava [Week 1] Friday Rs 33.10 crore, Saturday Rs 39.30 crore, Sunday Rs 49.03 crore, Monday Rs 24.10 crore, Tuesday Rs 25.75 crore, Wednesday Rs 32.40 crore. Total: Rs 203.68 crore.”

Star couple Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt made a stylish appearance at Aadar Jain and Alekha Advani's Mehendi ceremony, which took place on Wednesday evening in Mumbai.

The two were accompanied by Alia's mother, Soni Razdan. The trio were smiled as they posed for the paparazzi stationed outside the venue.

The Animal actor looked dapper in a white embroidered sherwani with matching churidar pants. Alia, on the other hand, looked stunning in a golden sequined sharara set, which she paired with a matching dupatta and statement earrings.

The Mehendi ceremony was also attended by his cousins, actresses Kareena Kapoor and Karisma Kapoor. The two looked stunning as they were spotted in traditional outfits.

Apart from them, veteran actress Jaya Bachchan was also spotted at the Mehendi function. The Sholay actress was seen in a blue suit, which she paired with a multicoloured shrug.

Earlier in January, the couple exchanged vows in a Christian ceremony in Goa, surrounded by close friends and family.

The couple's roka ceremony took place in November last year. It was attended by several celebrities from B-town, including Kareena Kapoor, Karisma Kapoor, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and Neetu Kapoor.

Aadar had announced his engagement to Alekha Advani in September last year with an adorable proposal by the sea.

Jain and Advani's relationship became public in November 2023 when Jain shared a photo of them together on social media, describing her as the "light of my life."

It is a cross-cultural love story, centers around a love tale where two contrasting worlds collide, a "North ka munda" meets a "South ki Sundari."
