Vijay Varma On Intimate Scene With Shweta Tripathi In Mirzapur 2: "We Learn So Much From Our Partners"

Bollywood actors Shweta Tripathi and Vijay Varma are gearing up for the release of their highly anticipated web series Mirzapur 3. Ahead of its release, Vijay Varma talked about the intimate scene shot between Chote and Golu in season 2. Recalling shooting for the scene, Vijay Verma said, “It was interesting for this character to go through an interesting experiment like this with Golu. On the surface, she comes across as a very normal and cutesy girl. But people forget that in her first scene, she's seen reading an erotica of a certain nature in a library. She's bent differently and she introduces him to it.”

“We learn so much from our partners. Early on, especially sexually, it's not like you discover everything on your own. When you meet a certain kind of energy, you turn from a boy into a man. When Golu gives him the belt and says maaro, he starts beating himself. When I came up with this idea, Guru (Gurmmeet Singh, director) started laughing. I told him that this guy doesn't know what she means," the Dahaad star continued.

Last month, sharing the trailer of Mirzapur 3, Ali Fazal wrote on Instagram, "Viraasat cheen li gayi hai, par dehshat kaayam hai (The legacy has been taken away, but the terror remains intact). #MirzapurOnPrime, July 5."

On Sunday, the makers of Mirzapur unveiled a rap track Gandi Bimari from Mirzapur 3. The song is sung and penned by music artist Ravi Mishra (Raga). It is composed by Raga himself, along with Anshuman Lehri (Wamp), tracing Guddu Pandit's journey to claim the throne.

Mirzapur showcases the story of Kaleen Bhaiyya (Pankaj Tripathi), the King Of Mirzapur and his nemesis - the Pandit Brothers Guddu, and Bablu ( played by Ali Fazal and Vikrant Massey). The first season explored the battle for power, leading to the throne of Mirzapur, and the second season transitions to a tale of revenge. The next chapter of the Mirzapur diaries will unfold on July 5.

Kalki 2898 AD Box Office Collection Day 4: Prabhas-Deepika Padukone's Film Is At Rs 302 Crore And Counting

Nag Ashwin's Kalki 2898 AD featuring superstars Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone and Prabhas, released in theatres on Thursday and collected a whopping ₹ 95.3 crore on its opening day. On Sunday, the film collected ₹ 85 crore for all languages, reported Sacnilk. The impressive star cast of Kalki 2898 AD includes superstars Prabhas, Deepika Padukone along with film legends Amitabh Bachchan and Kamal Haasan. Disha Patani is also a part of the film. Kalki 2898 AD released in multiple languages on June 27.

Compared to previous blockbusters, Kalki 2898 AD's first-day nett collection exceeded last year's top opener Jawan, starring Shah Rukh Khan, which earned ₹ 75 crore. Jawan amassed ₹ 640.25 crore nett in India and a total of ₹ 1,160 crore worldwide, as per Sacnilk.

In his review for NDTV, film critic Saibal Chatterjee gave the film 2.5 stars out of 5 and he wrote, "On the acting front, Prabhas leads the way and not only because the film revolves around him. His strong presence serves as a counterpoint to Amitabh Bachchan's towering Ashwatthama - the deathless warrior is an eight-footer. The latter's voice is, as always, an integral part of the character. Deepika Padukone, playing one of the central figures, is splendid as the pregnant woman on the run. Saswata Chatterjee, as the bad guy who shoots lethal laser rays from his fist, has his moments in a film that often lets spectacle overwhelm everything else that it is trying to convey about mankind and the dangers it faces due to its own profligate ways."

Kalki 2898 AD features a dystopian world. The post-apocalyptic film is inspired by Hindu scriptures and is set in the year 2898 AD. The film is directed by Nag Ashwin and stars Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, Kamal Haasan and Disha Patani in lead roles.

Sonakshi Sinha Married "The Greenest Flag Ever." See Viral Post

Newlyweds Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal are setting major couple goals. On Sunday, Sonakshi shared a reel on her Instagram stories. In the reel, Zaheer Iqbal can be seen walking inside what looks like a shopping mall with Sonakshi's pair of shoes in his hand. Sonakshi can be seen walking bare foot. T20 World Cup 2024: Anushka Sharma To Virat Kohli After India's Big Win - "Grateful To Call You My Home"

After Team India's big feat last night at the T20 World Cup 2024, Bollywood actress and cricketer Virat Kohli's wife Anushka Sharma shared a special post for her husband. Showering love on her husband, Anushka shared a solo photo of Virat Kolhi holding the T20 WC trophy and asked him to have some "sparkling water." “I love this man  @virat.kohli . So grateful to call you my home  – now go have a glass of sparkling water for me to celebrate this ! ,” Anushka wrote. The post got much love from many, including Priyanka Chopra. Kalki 2898 AD is ruling the box office and how. The film features Deepika Padukone, Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, and Disha Patani in key roles. Not only the fans, but celebrities are also equally impressed by Nag Ashwin's magnum opus. On Saturday,  Vijay Deverakonda, who plays a cameo in the film, and Rashmika Mandanna watched the film's screening. Nawazuddin Siddiqui To Actors Slamming Ranveer Singh's Method Acting Approach: "What Are They Doing Now?"

Remember when Ranveer Singh talked about embracing method acting and getting into a “dark space” for playing the role of Alauddin Khilji in Padmaavat? The actor faced criticism for his statement from actors Jim Sarbh and Prashant Narayanan. Now, Nawazuddin Siddiqui has spoken in favour of Ranveer. He has also called those who criticise an actor without knowing his/her process. In an interview with Shubhankar Mishra, without mentioning any names, Nawazuddin said, “The people who are calling it fake, did they bother to understand the actor's process? Did they bother to understand how he was living his life when he was creating the character? They are simply judging him. We don't know what a man is thinking when he's coming up with a characterisation.”

Nawazuddin Siddiqui continued, “When you dive deep into a character, it is a very painful process. This is a very irresponsible thing to say. If there was no process, then what Heath Ledger did in The Dark Knight would not be possible… That man was extremely serious about his performance and that is why he excelled in the character; that's how iconic characters are born. If we are going to take (the process) casually, then you'll end up with people just blurting out dialogues randomly. This is what separates a good actor from the rest. You never know which part of his past he is tapping to get into character. You can't take this so easily.”

Nawazuddin Siddiqui mentioned how actors often push themselves into “uncomfortable spaces” to play characters. He added, “How can you casually say that this is all pretentious? Have you ever tried to play any such character yourself?” When the interviewer disclosed that it was the "main villain of Murder 2" (played by Prashant Narayanan), and Ranveer Singh's "co-star in Padmaavat" (Jim Sarbh), who spoke against the method acting approach, Nawazuddin Siddiqui hinted that they are not doing anything significant professionally. He asked, “What are they doing now?... And what is the man who commented doing currently?”

Nawazuddin Siddiqui added, “Who are we to say if Ranveer Singh should or should not put himself through a painful process? What if he did? How do we know it? It is very easy to make such comments. We cannot underestimate anyone. This is an actor's job.” 

In case you missed it, in a 2018 interview, Ranveer Singh opened up about locking himself for 21 days and getting into a dark zone for his role in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's film Padmaavat. Speaking to Indian Express, he said, “I took 21 days and locked myself up in my Goregaon house. I was completely isolated.” He added, “I have had some life experiences that were quite dark. I can't reveal too much because it is too personal but it is the stuff I have brushed under the carpet so to speak. Stuff that I have buried in my conscience, that I had to dig out in order to play this character. And it was not always pretty, which validates my apprehension. I knew how deep I had to go into this rabbit hole. I would have had to go into this dark, black space. This abyss that could be dangerous for me. And it was.” Padmaavat also featured Deepika Padukone and Shahid Kapoor in key roles.

After Ranveer Singh's statement, his Padmaavat co-star, Jim Sarbh took a dig at him. In an interaction with The Quint, without mentioning Ranveer's name, he said, “There are all those actors who are like ‘You know, I was so stuck in my character that I had to get mental therapy for weeks after.' I was like ‘Shut up bro. You didn't even know your lines on the day, what nonsense.” The video was shared by a fan page on Reddit.

Prashant Narayanan also opposed Ranveer Singh's statement. In a conversation with Siddharth Kannan, he said, “Woh jhoot bol raha hai. Yeh dark spaces mein jana, yeh sab karna yeh bakwaas ki baatein hai. [He's lying. All this talk about going into dark spaces and doing such things is nonsense.]”  

Ranveer Singh was last seen in Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani alongside Alia Bhatt.

Bigg Boss OTT 3: It's Shivani Kumari vs Rest Of The House

Bigg Boss OTT 3 is delivering the right kind of drama and entertainment. In a recent video dropped by the makers on Instagram, some contestants are seen talking about influencer Shivani Kumari as she suddenly enters the scene. It begins with influencer Armaan Malik, Payal Malik and Kritika Malik and actress Sana Makbul talking against Shivani. Payal says, “Ek cheez dekhli (Shivani) logo ke beech me vo lagati hai. [I have noticed one thing (Shivani) she causes friction among people]. Armaan adds, “Ungalbaazi [Poking].” To this, Sana says, “Yeh maine abhi dekha. [I just saw this now].” Payal quips, “Abhi nahi yeh pehle bhi aise hi kar rahi thi. [Not just now, she was doing this before too]. Sana recalls, “Us din raat ko bhi maine vo cheez notice ki thi. [I noticed this that night too].”

After that, we get a glimpse of Shivani Kumari, who is standing behind the door and listening to the conversation. Kritika Malik is heard saying, “Vo Vishal (influencer Vishal Pandey) waali baat pe bhi to dekha tha. [We also saw it during the Vishal incident].” Sana Makbul adds, “Abhi vaapis boli aapne dekha nahi tha? [Didn't you notice that she again talked about it?]” Kritika replies, “Nahi, kya boli? [No, what did she say?].” 

Sana Makbul then talks about the “roti” incident. She adds, “To maine bola na. Maine kaha, ‘Teri baat chal rahi hai kisi aur ko mat ghusa.' Maine cut kiya usko. Not good. Ab usko vo cheez samajh nahi aa rahi hai. Aaj subah maine baat karne ki koshish ki usse. Ab usey accept hi ni kar rahi hai to. [So, I said to her, ‘It is your matter, don't involve someone else.' I cut her off. Not good. Now, she's not understanding this. I tried to talk to her this morning, but she's not accepting it].” 

Kritika Malik says, “Jab mai bhi aayi thi. Jab tum log baat kar rahe the. [When I came too. When you guys were talking].” Sana Makbul explains, “Mai usko bahut pyaar se samjah rahi thi. [I was explaining it to her very lovingly].” Towards the end, Shivani Kumari opens the door. Without looking at them, she simply says, “Peeth peeche nahi muh par bolat. [Don't talk behind my back, say it to my face].”

The caption reads, “Contestants hain Shivani se naraaz, behind the back chal rahi hai baat. [The contestants are upset with Shivani, talking behind her back.]”

At the trailer launch of Bad Newz in Mumbai on Friday, one of the reporters asked Vicky Kaushal, "when will you announce the real good news," referring to Katrina Kaif's ongoing pregnancy rumours. Here's what the actor replied.

Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal got married in December 2021 after dating for 2 years. They hosted big, fat wedding festivities in Sawai Madhopur, Rajasthan. On the last season of Karan Johar's chat show Koffee With Karan 8, Vicky Kaushal revealed that his proposal wasn't a very dramatic one and that he proposed to Katrina Kaif just a day before the wedding. "It was very last minute," said Vicky Kaushal. The actor revealed that it was during a dinner in Sawai Madhopur, Rajasthan (their wedding destination). Vicky added, "I had been warned by everybody that if you don't propose, it's something you'll have to be prepared for for the rest of your life that you got to hear about it. I did that one day before the wedding It was dinner just before any of the friends and families could come."

Coming back to the film - directed by Anand Tiwari, the project has been produced by Hiroo Yash Johar, Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, Amritpal Singh Bindra and Tiwari. The film is slated to release in theatres on July 19.

Shraddha Kapoor On Amitabh Bachchan's Performance In Kalki 2898 AD: "Kya North, Kya South..."

Shraddha Kapoor, who starred with Amitabh Bachchan in her debut movie, the 2010 release Teen Patti, shared a post for the film legend. The actress shared two slides on Instagram last night and it would be fair to call it an Amitabh Bachchan appreciation post. "Kya North, Kya South, Kya East, Kya West. Saara cinema ek taraf," wrote Shraddha. In the next slide, the actress shared a photo of Big B as Ashwatthama in Kalki 2898 AD and she wrote "Amitabh Bachchan ek taraf."

Shraddha Kapoor captioned the post, "Amitabh Bachchan apne aap mein hi ek cinematic universe hain ( Amitabh Bachchan is a cinematic universe himself)." Shraddha's Stree co-star Abhishek Banerjee also commented on her post. He wrote, "Baap of all baaps." The comments section of Shraddha's post quickly escalated into an Amitabh Bachchan fanclub of sorts. An Instagram user added, "He's doing this at the age of 81, what an absolute legend." On the work front, Amitabh Bachchan recently starred in Kalki 2898 AD. Before that he starred in Ganapath, alongside Tiger Shroff and Kriti Sanon. The veteran actor will star in the Hindi remake of the Hollywood film The Intern, co-starring Deepika Padukone. The actors have previously worked together in the 2015 film Piku. Amitabh Bachchan will also co-star with Rajinikanth in TJ Gnanavel's untitled film. Amitabh Bachchan and Rajinikanth famously co-starred in Hum.

For Gossip Girl Star Ed Westwick, A Birthday Wish From Fiancee Amy Jackson

On Ed Westwick's 37th birthday, Bollywood actor and his fiancee Amy Jackson shared a super cute post on Instagram. She shared an album sealed with a kiss and wrote in her caption, "You're the best decision I've ever made. Happy Birthday, baby." In the comments section of Amy's post, Ed Westwick wrote, "My dreams come true with you everyday. Thank you for this sweet message. I love you." Amy Jackson and actor Ed Westwick, who is best known for his role as Chuck Bass on the popular TV show Gossip Girl, got engaged in January this year.
